Dr. Brimstone

i took these two pictures before i left for oklahoma meaning to show the family, but i didnt quite get there as we were busy with so much to do. so i have decided to post them. aunt jackie made one of her cute and accurate 'rock people' for grandpa brimhalls (82nd? 83rd?) birthday. i thought it was too cute not to share. jackie made the tomato plant, scriptures, violin, hands and rock hammer. and that is an actual mozart piece on the piece of paper. what i would give for the talent/creatvity in her right pinky finger! A-MAZING!

gotta love the true-to-life 'rock person' of grandpa. the brown shoes, blue slacks, and khaki coat with tie. this is grandpa!

in other news i think im on the verge of having a mental breakdown. mary, my co-worker/bff, left this evening for chicago/wisconsin for a week long visit. this means that next week i am running the lab, processing all the samples, and writing all the reports. i will have a few people (2) to help, but everything has to go through me and therefore it all depends on me to get the reports out in the end. mary is usually here to help with the work load, but since she is gone for a week it is just me. i cant complain because i did the same thing to her back in june when i left to oklahoma for a week. she pulled the week off without any hiccups. pray that i dont have any hiccups... and for my sanity. thanks.

Um that little rock grandpa is so dang cute. I have zero creativity too, don't worry. Maybe one day...

GIrl you can hold down the fort, butI will be praying for you. That is a lot for one person to handle... not having their best friend around.
